Barry has been a Camp Director for 35+ years. Prior to creating Eagle’s Landing, Barry was the Director of both Eagle River Day Camp in Monroe for 8 years and Lake-Vu Day Camp in East Brunswick for 14 years. Barry served on the Board of Advisors for Camp America, a division of the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS). He has also previously served as President, Vice President , and Treasurer of the NJ Association of Private Camps, and as a Board Member of the American Camp Association.
Ruth Ann has been a Camp Director for 25+ years. Prior to Eagle’s Landing, Ruth Ann was the Director of Eagle River Day Camp in Monroe for 8 years and the Head Counselor of Lake-Vu Day Camp for 4 years. Ruth Ann grew up in camp and spent many years working in non-profit facilities. She has served as an administrator at camps in both New Jersey and Delaware. Ruth Ann has her Masters in Counseling and received her certification as both a Pre-School teacher and as a Kindergarten teacher. She also supervised an after-school program working with children in grades K-8

Hanna is a lifelong camper. After 12 years as a camper and 12 years as camp staff, she pursued her passion and worked locally at State Theatre New Jersey for 5 years. Camp called her back and she was excited to return as Assistant Director! Hanna graduated from Boston University with degrees in Communications and Theater Management. Her primary focus at camp is on IT, facilties, and operations. She loves going outside with the campers and staff, but her favorite jobs by far are at the pools and up on the ropes course.

Katia is entering her third summer at Eagle’s Landing and her first as Assistant Director. She oversees all things Events, Marketing, New Campers, Sports, and our Wellness Office. She brings a strong business and research background—as well as a ton of creative programming ideas—to our team. Katia has worked at two other camps, one day camp and one overnight camp, and holds an Honors degree in Business Management from St. Francis Xavier University in Canada. When she’s not at camp, Katia is completing her Masters and teaches competitive dance across the state.

Justin was previously the Division Leader for 3rd and 4th grade boys, but now he has stepped into a new position as our Leadership Coordinator. His role is partially outdoors, where he works with new main staff, helps train staff before and throughout the summer, and supports the integration of the inclusion program. Justin also works in the camp office assisting with the elective program and creating new hot day and rainy day schedules. Justin previously taught Special Education English at Newark High School and is now the Technology Coordinator for the High School. He lives locally with his wife and two sons, who are current ELDC campers.

Sara is very excited to be back as the Boys Kiddie Kingdom Division Leader! Sara has been with our camp family for over 25 years. She has 4 children and works at a local preschool as a teacher. She is known for her calm demeanor and her problem solving skills. Sara always finds the best parts in every one of her campers. Her staff come back year after year to work with her due to her kindness and empathy.

Julia seems like she has been at camp forever! Julia has been a Counselor in Kiddie Kingdom since she started working here at ELDC, and the Assistant Division Leader for the past 2 summers. Julia has the best smile that you can see all over camp. The 3’s, 4’s and 5’s follow her like she is a pied piper. Julia has always wanted to be a teacher as far back as we can remember and she has stayed the course. She currently teaches in Montgomery Township and is finishing up her Masters in Special Education. Julia comes with lots of experience to be the new Division Leader for Girls Kiddie Kingdom.

Shari cannot wait to be returning as the 1st and 2nd Grade Boys Division Leader for her 13th summer at camp! During the school year, she works on the Child Study Team in the Carteret Public Schools as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) identifying students with special needs, placing students in appropriate settings, and helping teachers make appropriate modifications for their students! She has two amazing girls, one who is a staff member and one who is a camper. She is super excited for this Summer!

Avery has been at Eagle’s Landing for over 5 years. She has worked all over camp: as a Swim Instructor, in our Camper Success program as a one-on-one, as an Assistant Division Leader and now she is the 1st and 2nd grade girls Division Leader! Avery has grown up in the area of North Brunswick and also went to college in New Jersey. She loves working with our Inclusion campers as well as mainstream campers. Typically you can see Avery running through camp with the kids or creating a dance party. She loves working with kids and it shows!

Evan is excited to be returning to Eagle’s Landing for his second summer! Evan teaches 3rd grade in South Brunswick during the school year, so the position of 3/4 boys Division Leader is a perfect fit. When Evan is not teaching, he loves to work out, root for the NY Yankees, and learn more about cars. Evan lives locally and loves spending time with family and friends.

Krissy is excited to be back as the Division Leader for 3rd and 4th grade girls!! She has been a nanny for a local family for over 10 years and now is teaching in NJ. Krissy is an amazing problem solver and works so well with our younger campers. She has also had opportunities to work with our special needs population. Krissy has moved up to the Division Leader for 3rd and 4th grade girls She was formerly the Division Leader for Girl's 1st and 2nd grade Girls and is excited to try a new age group and move up with her campers and staff.

Todd is returning to camp for his 16th summer as a Division Leader. Eagle’s Landing is excited to have Todd back supervising the 5th and 6th grade boys, which he has been doing for over 10 summers! Todd teaches middle school in Metuchen during the school year. He is easy going and adaptable to all personalities. Joining him at camp this summer are his two daughters.

Sydney will be working in the school system as a speech therapist. Sydney has been at camp in many different staff positions. After being a counselor, she worked with our inclusion campers as a shadow and most recently as an Assistant Division Leader. Sydney graduated from UMASS and plans to continue on to graduate school as she interns with different school districts. Sydney is always outside with her campers and staff having just as much fun as the campers do.

Mike is excited to be returning to be the 7th and 8th grade boys Division Leader for his 4th summer! He has been a teacher at Quarry Hill Elementary School in Yardley, PA for the past 2 years after spending 20 years prior in the much less fun world of corporate, where painting his hair orange or wearing a tutu would have been frowned upon. Mike is a father of 4 girls, all of whom are Eagle’s Landing campers. He and his family live in Yardley, PA, where they bleed Eagles green, as mandated by the state.

Jeanine is very excited to return for her 6th summer as the Division Leader for 7th and 8th grade girls! She has worked as a teacher in the South Brunswick School District for the past 23 years. She is a general education teacher and has worked with both regular and special ed students. Jeanine has taught 4th and 5th grade and now teaches 3rd. She is the proud mom of 4 children, all of whom also call Eagle’s Landing their summer home.

Morgan has worked at Eagle’s Landing as a Counselor, Shadow, Assistant Division Leader and now he is the new Division Leader for our LIT/CIT program. Morgan went to school planning to be a Doctor, but after spending so much time with kids he changed his major to Education. Morgan worked in the South Brunswick school system and now is in East Brunswick teaching Biology. Morgan is a true fan favorite with staff and campers, and he is already busy working on new activities to work and train our future leaders at camp. Morgan currently lives in South Brunswick and loves hanging out with family and his dog, Cash.
